Dr. Kennell

Dr. Melissa Kennell has been practicing in the Lakes Region since 2006. Graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with a B.A. in psychology from Southern Methodist University of Dallas, TX, Dr. Kennell continued her education at the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude and in the top 10 of her class.

Dr. Kennell regularly attends continuing education courses nationwide to stay abreast of the current techniques in the field of children’s dentistry.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Smith

Dr. Matthew Smith relocated from California in 2012, where he was fortunate to have worked alongside his father, James, a fellow pediatric dentist and orthodontist of more than forty years. Dr. Smith received his Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington and a Master’s Degree in Oncological Sciences from University of Utah. Changing career paths, he graduated from the University Of California San Francisco School Of Dentistry in 2004. After graduating in 2004 Smith was commissioned as an active duty officer practicing as an Army dentist while stationed overseas in Germany. After ending his commitment to the Army, Smith was accepted to the pediatric residency program at Children’s Hospital Michigan.

Dr. Smith and Dr. Kennell share the same philosophy that seeing the dentist can be a fun and positive experience.

Our Team

Every member of our dental team involved in providing dental care for your child is certified in their field. Their specific duties include the ability to provide cleanings and fluoride treatments, sealants, taking x-rays, and assisting during sedations.

Staff

Stacie Stacie has worked with Dr. Kennell since 2006. She has two young boys, Brody and Tyler.		Meredith Meredith’s favorite sports team is the Boston Bruins!
Amber Amber has gone to Hawaii and loves watching UFC.		Louanne Louanne loves country music!, but Beyoncé is her favorite. She began working for Dr. kennell in 2008.
Tara  Tara is originally from Springfield, VT and her favorite ice cream is NH Black Bear.		Jodi   Jodi has a Weimaraner dog, Miley, named after Miley Cyrus.
Tracy Tracy was born in Taiwan. Her husband and two daughters are all red heads.		Amy  Amy's favorite quote from a movie is "There's no crying in baseball!"
Dusty  Dusty loves to snack on fruit, has a cat named Gracie and is from California!		Emily  Emily remembers her favorite vacation ever was Disney World, with her family.
Tina Tina’s favorite sports team is the New England Patriots. Tina is married to Patrick and together they have 4 children.		Leo Leo, a lefty, began working here in the Fall of 2012. He enjoys his pug named Jr., and his yellow lab named Lady.
